2025 is shaping up to be a big year.

We recently inked a multiple launch deal with Phantom Space. Unlike more traditional rideshare launches – with different payloads from a variety of companies and organizations – each Phantom launch will have only our satellites on board.

And each launch will deploy up to 80 of them.

Along with the delivery of a veritable satellite constellation to low Earth orbit, our partnership with Phantom will allow for more control over launch dates and windows, including launch site locations. This makes the infamous difficulty of rocket launches that much easier.

Our founder Joe Latrell expands on this idea below (as quoted in the original news release):

  • “Partnering with Phantom’s team for dedicated launch services is a game changer because it allows Quub to pinpoint its desired launch dates and specific orbits without having to wait for an appropriate rideshare. Now we can more quickly and efficiently achieve our goal to provide space-based data to mitigate the effects of climate change on our planet. Phantom’s team has broad and extensive experience in both launch and satellite services, which allows Quub to focus on providing data to its customers.”

As for Phantom’s chief operations officer, Mark Lester, he says that their personalized approach expedites the transition from satellite production to revenue generation in orbit, and that Phantom is poised to play a pivotal role in propelling the space economy forward.

At Quub, we’re looking forward to propelling the space economy right along with them.
